Looking back Allison would say that what happened to her had been pretty much inevitable. It seemed to be the fate of every Argent to die at the hands of the very things they were supposed to kill. Maybe that was the problem in some ways; she had broken away from the old Code and now she was being punished. She was going to die exactly how her mother and her aunt had died though the two women had died in very different ways.
The only difference was that she wasn't going to die.
Even now she could see her father, the great Chris Argent, struggling between what the code he had grown up with dictated and his feelings as a father. Furthermore, it was his feelings as a man who lost his wife because she had followed that code. Allison wasn't sure she could believe in anything that said a woman should abandon her husband and daughter instead of living. After all, not all werewolves were monsters and Allison had seen proof of that.
Sitting on the edge of her bed, she let out a slow breath past the haze of pain and the burning sensation that came from her arm just below her right shoulder. The wound, the perfect bite marks that shredded skin and muscle had stopped bleeding for the moment but she could feel the burn of the venom or whatever it was slowly sinking through her body. It ran along her veins, saturated itself in her muscles and she swore she could feel something deeper inside of her tearing apart already. One soul becoming two.
"Dad." Her voice is hoarse with barely contained pain and emotion. She waited till he turned towards her, the pain and fury evident in his gaze. She knew he was blaming himself for letting them get separated but she wasn't going to let him take the blame for this. She had made the mistake here and had ended up getting bitten by a random Alpha pulled to Beacon Hills for whatever reason. She suspected the Nogitsune had done it somehow but that was neither here nor there. Scott and the pack would deal with it while she dealt with this.
Not that they knew. She didn't want them to know, not yet.
"I'm not killing myself." She told him then, knowing he wouldn't argue even if the pain turned sharper. He hadn't wanted this for her but it wasn't like she had wanted it either. "I'm going to let it happen. I'm going to become one of them."
